Eliminating Static Shocks From Foam And Bubble Wrap

A foam and bubble wrap manufacturer has a slitting operation to cut the large rolls (60") down to smaller widths. The rollers prior to the cutting knives are rubber coated and they cause a great deal of static. This static buildup was discharging on to the operators, causing a safety issue. They used (2) Model 8192 Ion Air Cannons and (1) Model 7960 Power Supply to flood the area with ionized air, preventing the static buildup and eliminating the safety hazard.
