Heavy Duty Line Vac Automates Blast Media Replenishment
This automotive parts manufacturer operates a sandblaster to prefinish metal parts. Periodically, the machine needs to be replenished with blasting media, and the operator would shovel it out as needed. However, they were often running the machine out of media before it could be attended to. A Model 150100 1" (25mm) Heavy Duty Line Vac was installed in an automated line to transferring the media back into the blast machine. This eliminated machine shut downs, and greatly improved efficiency of the process.
