Heavy Duty Line Vac Lifts Abrasive Grit From An Elevator
A grinding wheel manufacturer needed to gather an abrasive grit that would spill around the facility, before it was formed into grinding wheels. They installed a Model 152200 2" (51mm) Heavy Duty Line Vac Kit to use to clean up the shop. Specifically, the pit of the elevator that lifted the grit from the loading dock to the wheel forming operation needed cleaned weekly. Lifting material from the pit normally required a bucket and a ladder. Vacuuming the material via the Line Vac into a dust collector saved time and made the operation safer.
