High Power Cold Gun Prevents Fabric from Melting During Scroll Saw Cutting

A contract sewing customer manufactures body armor. They use a reciprocating scroll saw to cut multi-layered, heavily coated nylon fabric, which is 3/8" thick. The heat generated during cutting would melt the fabric and jam the saw blade. Model 5330 High Power Cold Gun with Two Cold Outlets was installed to provide the cooling necessary to prevent the fabric from melting. A cold outlet was placed on each side of the blade to remove the heat.
