Ion Air Gun Cleans Plexiglass Prior to Laminating

One of our sign manufacturing customers has a process where they will print upon a plastic substrate with an ink jet printer and then laminate that plastic substrate to Plexiglas. When they pull the protective coating from the Plexiglas it creates a great deal of static and attracts dust. The dust is very visible after the plastic is laminated to the Plexiglas because it leaves a large bump on the finished product, which then is rejected. We have supplied this customer with the Model 8493 Ion Air Gun Kit. This kit includes a power supply, compressed air filter and pressure regulator so the customer has everything necessary for a solution. This has allowed them to quickly clean the surface of the Plexiglas before lamination and has eliminated defects due to contamination on the Plexiglas.
