Ion Bar Helps De-Stacking Operation

A fabricator who is working with sheet metal is lifting sheet metal stock from the material stack and placing it onto a CNC machine bed. There is a separation paper betewen the sheet metal stock. The destacking operation is helped by providing compressed air in between the sheets. The paper causes a lot of static in between the sheets and the air blow does not always separate the sheet metal. This customer purchased a Model 8012 12" (305mm) Ion Bar to provide static eliminating ions into the existing compressed air stream. The ions are captured by the compressed air stream and delivered in between the sheets of metal. They can now eliminate the difficult static charge and better separate the metal. This has increased safety and production.
