Keeping Cutting Oil Inside Machine
Customer makes earth moving equipment. One of their manufacturing processes is gear hobbing. The heavy oil adheres to the part and drips on the floor when removed from the machine. Using a Model 110006 6" (152mm) Super Air Knife blowing down on the part as it emerged from the machine, they were able to direct all the tramp oil back into the machine. They were able to eliminate a housekeeping and potential safety problem.
