Keeping LCD Display Chemicals Contained
An electronics company is manufacturing LCD Digital Thermometers. They are dispensing the LCD chemistry into very small pockets on a plastic web. Once filled the web moves to a sealing area where another web is laminated to the top of the chemistry filled web. Static is causing the chemistry to "wick" up and out of the small pockets and creates a bad seal on the product.
