Line Vac Air Operated Conveyor Replaces Manual Loading Operation
This power generation OEM has provided a customer with a compressed air system dryer which uses desiccant to remove moisture from the compressed air. The OEM’s customer currently carries bags of desiccant on their shoulder and up a ladder to refill the dryer after the desiccant has been dumped. They are not happy with the manual operation and the safety risks involved. The OEM has provided an EXAIR Model 6963 1-1/2" (38mm) Stainless Steel Line Vac Kit and 30’ of transfer hose (Model 6933-30) as an automated solution to fill the dryer with new desiccant. This has removed the safety risks of the manual loading, eliminating the safety hazard.
