Line Vac and EFC Increase Productivity in Medical Device Production
Company manufactures silicon medical devices. The customer manually removes flash from silicon parts that they mold. They are looking for a way to quickly and easily remove the flash from the fingers of their operators with an automatic device. Model 6061 1" (25mm) Stainless Steel Line Vac and Model 9055 Electronic Flow Control are being used to allow the operator non-contact, automatic actuation of the line vac to suck the flash away from their fingers. The customer was considering building their own controller until they saw our ad for the EFC. Customer has achieved 50% increase in productivity over current method of simply shaking the flash off of their fingers which doesn’t always work.
