Line Vac Conveys Almonds Without Jamming or Damage

Customer packages almonds using a rotary bagging machine. Each station has a holding bin that meters the product into the bags. The bins are filled by feeding product onto an inverted cone which then spills into the bins. Customer wanted a way to transfer the product from a super sack up to the cone feeder. They did not want to use an auger because of frequent jamming and product damage. They instead installed a Model 6064 2" (51mm) Stainless Steel Line Vac, and were able to safely and consistently convey the almonds up to the feeder, at a fraction of the cost of an auger system.
