Line Vac Conveys Candy Bars
A large candy maker needed to convey small wrapped candy bars approximately 50 feet into a soft sided hopper. After discussing the project and performing in-house testing in our Efficiency Lab, they purchased a Model 6986 3" (76mm) Aluminum Line Vac Kit and our Model 6936-50 Clear Reinforced PVC Conveyance Hose, 3" (76mm) ID x 50ft Length. The Conveyance Hose was run with a 10 feet length on the suction end, and a horizontal run of approximately 35 feet with a 13 inch vertical run into the hopper. Operating at 80 psig, they were able to convey 9.9 pounds per minute.
