Line Vac Replaces Bucket and Ladder Operation, Eliminates Operator Safety Hazard
A customer needed to fill a hopper with plastic caps. An operator would carry a 15 pound scoop of them, by hand, up a 6' ladder to dump them into the hopper, at the beginning of every shift. This was a worker hazard, as they needed one hand to carry the scoop while going up the ladder. They installed a Model 6966 3" (76mm) 303 Stainless Steel Line Vac Kit to convey the caps from a newly installed floor level bin to the hopper. The process of conveying one box takes approximately 2 minutes and is considerably safer for the operators.
