Line Vac Speeds Up Testing Procedure
The customer manufactures steering components for a variety of automotive manufacturers. Part of the quality control process involves using a small bit of oil to test a valve assembly. It would take 60 seconds for the oil to drain out of the valve assembly once the testing was completed. This caused a bottle-neck in the testing process. The customer implemented Model 6080 3/4" (19mm) Aluminum Line Vac to suck the oil from the valve assembly. The customer was able to reduce the draining time to 10 seconds and vastly speed up the process. The time savings was 83% which is crucial in a fast paced testing process.
