Placing A Screen In A Valve Body
A manufacturing and assembly company is trying to assemble a screen insert into a valve assembly. The nature of the part is such that it would be damaged if it were picked up by mechanical means. They had to come up with a way to pick and place the screen without damaging it. A Model 6080 3/4" (19mm) Line Vac was attached to a robotic arm which swung from a feeder tray over to the assembly fixture. The air was turned on for the pick and turned off to drop the screen in place.
