Preparing Glass Surface for Cutting Application
Company manufactures windows and doors. They cut glass to size in their window manufacturing process. The glass comes in stacked with a layer of protective powder between each sheet to prevent the glass from scratching during shipment. They use a brush to remove powder from the bottom of the glass but need to remove the powder from the top of the glass sheets also. The powder needs to be removed prior to the cutting operation to prevent premature wear of the cutting blades and ensure a good quality cut. The customer chose five EXAIR Model 1102 Super Air Nozzles to blow across the glass sheet and remove the powder.
