Product Positioning
Company extrudes doggie treats in the form of a rope onto a conveyor belt which takes it to a stamp and cut operation. If the doughy rope is not positioned just right it produces an incomplete fill with a big blob to the side. Being a sticky dough, guide rails do not work. With the airflow from the Model 110003 3" (76mm) and the Model 110006 6" (152mm) Super Air Knives, they were able to position the product in the right spot for cutting. This eliminated jam ups at the cutter and scrapped material.
