Protecting Bed Ways From Chips
Company does contract machining. Chips are getting underneath their way covers. The covers are not lasting very long and are expensive to replace. The Model 1100 Super Air Nozzle was installed where the way covers made contact with the bed ways. The nozzle removed the chips, eliminating any of them getting under the covers. Since the covers no longer came into contact with the chips, they did not wear out and expensive replacement was eliminated.
