Providing A Uniform Coating On Label Stock
A label stock converting company coats a label web. They did not want any coating on the edge of the label. They do not have any control over the flow of the coating during the process and they let it flow over the edge of the web. They used a Model 110006 6" (152mm) Super Air Knife to scrape the coating from the edge without damaging the substrate. Mechanical scrapers damaged the substrate.
