Providing Ventilation To A Confined Area

A defense contractor is providing maintenance on a Navy ship. When the ships come in for major service, they shut down their ventilation systems. While doing service in the engine rooms, no ventilation is available and the personnel are required to wear safety gear that is very hot and uncomfortable in these conditions. Many times this prevents the personnel from wearing the safety gear. They have a blower assembly they can mount on the top deck and duct down (up to 9 decks down) to provide circulation. But the blower is very cumbersome and is not often utilized. They have ordered 2 pieces of a Model 120024 4" (102mm) Super Air Amplifier to provide circulation. This is a simple and local solution that can be installed and utilized quickly. It will eliminate the blower and maintain airflow so the personnel will remain in proper safety gear.
