Recover Coolant from Machined Parts
A customer who repairs, rebuilds and retrofits CNC machine tools saw an opportunity to optimize the CNC machine's ability to recover coolant from the parts and installed an EXAIR Model 1103 1/8 NPT Super Air Nozzle to blow air across a 5" wide part surface. The nozzle removed the excess coolant from the part and kept it inside of the machine, eliminating lost coolant due to carryover. This simple solution replaced a loud and inefficient open blow off, reducing air consumption and noise level.
