Recover Oil, Prevent Buildup
Company manufactures custom sheet metal projects. They have a brazing oven and are having trouble with the lubricant they use on the drive chain which carries the parts through the oven. The oil they use breaks down due to the heat in the oven and bakes onto the drive chain, leaving a sticky paste covering the chain. The sticky covering prevents the oil from getting into some of the drive chain areas which must be kept lubricated. They are also losing oil, which they would like to recover. They have chosen an EXAIR Model 110006 6" (152mm) Super Air Knife to remove the excess oil, which they recover in a drip pan. This also minimizes the baked on oil residue which increases the time between maintenance cycles of the drive chain.
