Recycling Sugar

Customer makes sweeteners for the beverage industry. The sweetener product has to be a specific mesh size, so they screen it. The powdery byproduct can be recycled by adding it back into the process. They needed a convenient way to transport the finings back to the sugar making process. Using a Model 6063 1-1/2" (38mm) Stainless Steel Line Vac, they funneled the fallen pieces from the sifter into the Line Vac which then carried it back to the slurry. This method prevented contamination and saved them $10,000/year in lost sugars.
