Remove and Capture Dust
Company manufactures rubber coated rollers and rubber bonded metal. Customer is grinding grooves in a small 9mm diameter rubber roller. The grinding operation created small particulate and dust that sticks to the finished roller. A secondary operation was in place to clean the rollers. They have decided to place one Model 8294 Ion Air Jet and Power Supply above the roller and as it indexes past the Ion Air Jet it will be relieved of a static charge and the dust blown off of the roller. Underneath the Ion Air Jet they have decided to place a Model 6082 1 1/4" (32mm) Aluminum Line Vac to help capture some of the blown off dust to minimize contamination of the environment.
