Removing Static on Broom Handles

Company manufactures composite plastic products. They extrude and cut plastic broom handles. The cutting operation causes a static charge, making the plastic sawdust stick to it. When they go to apply the adhesive labels, the dust gets trapped under the label and creates unsightly bumps and poor adhesion. Running the part through the throat of the Model 8292 Ion Air Cannon, they were able to remove static charges and all plastic dust. This eliminated their labeling problems and made for a better looking product.
