Standard Ion Air Knives Eliminate Static From Wood Inkjet Printer Application

Customer designed an inline inkjet printer for lineal wood products. Static charge caused a problem with dust, which resulted in poor quality printing. They mounted two Model 8103 3" (76mm) Standard Ion Air Knives, one on the side to eliminate static from the product before passing over printer, and another on the front to blow ionized air over the printer head to keep static charged dust from settling. Print quality was restored, and product remains dust-free.
