Static Elimination Aids in Debris Removal
A candy company needs to remove peanuts from their shells before they can be put in the candy mixtures. The shells are separated from the peanuts then conveyed to a disposal bin. Because of static generated from the shells bouncing around on the conveyor, pieces of the shells remain on the conveyor as it rotates.
