Staying Clean and Cool

Customer manufactures computer controlled industrial miter saws. They use a PC to control their miter saw. They have a customer using it to cut fiber-glass product. The application is very dusty due to the nature of the material being processed. The normal fan/filter arrangement they were using gets plugged up in a matter of minutes. This causes the control box to overheat, causing malfunction of the computer control. The filters are not maintained well enough, which contributes to the problem. A Model 4008 Cabinet Cooler is being used to purge the box and keep it cool. The filters and the fans were eliminated. The boxes are maintaining temperature which allows the computer to work normally. This results in improved productivity, especially in demanding applications such as fiberglass processing.
