Super Air Knife Blows Off Excess Batter, Saving Clean Up and Lost Product
A food processing company dips food product into a batter tank. When the product emerges up and out of the tank, excess batter drips onto a catch tray. The batter dries and periodically has to be scraped clean. They wanted to eliminate not only the clean up, but also the excessive loss of the batter. By installing a Model 110012SS 12" (305mm) Stainless Steel Super Air Knife blowing down onto the product, excess batter was directed back into the dip tank, virtually eliminating the need for clean up. They also realized a 10% reduction in loss of batter.
