Super Air Knife Blows Rinse Water From Structural Steel

This customer makes structural steel "I" beams. During the cooling process, they spray the steel beams with large amounts of water after sawing the beams into lengths, but they then need to remove the water from the beams.  They were previously using several open end 1/4" NPT pipes blowing over the structural steel. After replacing these with a Model 110054 54" (1372mm) Super Air Knife, with a 0.004" thick shim installed. The noise level was reduced from over 100 dBA to 69 dBA, while still providing a powerful blast of air; more than sufficient to blow the water off.
