Super Air Knife Cleans Cut Foam
A manufacturer of die cut foam packaging also provides a complete fulfillment service for their customers if needed. This packaging fulfillment application die cuts some foam which is sent into a packaging machine where it is combined with the product and a box. The die cutting process leaves some fines and debris on the foam. They had received complaints from the customer about the fines left in the complete package. They chose an EXAIR Model 110006 6" (152mm) Super Air Knife to blow the foam off after it is cut. This removes any fines and dust which may be on the foam. It has eliminated the customer complaints.
