Super Air Knife Cools Fish Bait Prior To Packaging
This customer manufactures fish bait, by blending fish scent with hot oils and extruding the mixture into containers. The containers are capped by hand and packed into boxes for shipment. Right after filling, though, the containers are too hot to handle safely, and the fans they were using took longer than desired to adequately cool the product. A Model 110048 48" (1219mm) Super Air Knife was installed to blow cooling air onto the containers as they progressed down the line. This provided much faster cooling than the fans, resulting in increased production, as well as operator safety.
