Super Air Knife Cools Polypropylene Thermoforms

A customer is thermoforming some polypropylene sheets. This is something they have done many times in the past but this process is a little different. This particular formed part must be heated more to gain a higher temperature during production which gives the material the desired strength characteristics once it is complete. The higher temperature of these parts has made it necessary to provide some cooling to keep production rates the same. EXAIR has provided a Model 110018 18" (457mm) Super Air Knife in order to flood the entire part with volumes of cooling air flow. The Super Air Knife has been successful in removing the additional heat and keeping production speeds the same.
