Super Air Knife diverts a Poly Film over a Roller
A company in the paper and converting industry was helping on a plastic film line for a customer. They were trying to reduce the frequency of the plastic film completely wrapping around a roll and binding up the machine. The film was supposed to only wrap around the roll 180 degrees to change direction but it continued to stay on the roll and wrap around. The width of the film web was 80" (2032mm) so they installed an EXAIR Model #110084 84" (2134mm) Long Super Air Knife. The small profile of the knife allowed them to position it in the web handling system and provide a gentle blow off to help keep the film web from sticking to the roller.
