Super Air Knife Keeps Grasshoppers Off Coil Rolls
A metal processor handles aluminum sheet stock. They were having problems with grasshoppers getting on the strip mill. This caused their vision systems to register a reject and the grasshoppers would be squashed when going through sizing rolls and could create a defect. A Model 110030 30" Super Air Knife was installed, and blew the grasshoppers from the aluminum sheet stock.
