Super Air Knife Provides Finishing Touch

A manufacturer of irrigation equipment makes a part which goes on an agricultural irrigation system and is chrome plated. Any water spots which remain on the part after it has gone through the parts washer cause a bad coating area or a bad mark upon the chrome coating. This customer wanted to reduce reworked parts while maintaining the production throughput. They installed an EXAIR Model 110206 6" (152mm) Super Air Knife Kit to install upon the parts conveyor and remove any residual water from the parts. The successful application removed the water and did not interrupt the production process which resulted in eliminating reworked parts and kept production up to speed.
