Super Air Knife Removes Debris From Filament Wire

Customer extrudes filament wire in multiple strands. These strands have to be cleaned of any contaminants prior to application of coating. Using a Model 110012 12" (305mm) Super Air Knife as the strands passed below it, they were stripped of all debris. This was a far superior method to the previous method of running the strands over a felt blotter. With no moving parts, the Super Air Knife operated flawlessly without any maintenance. This was a major benefit, as the felt pads had to be replaced every shift.
