Super Air Knife Removes Plastic Parts From Mold
This customer produces plastic molded parts. During the ejection cycle, their parts were sticking in the mold, and the operator had to interrupt the machine cycle to manuall pry the parts loose. A Model 110012 12" (305mm) Super Air Knife was installed along one edge of the mold, which consistently blew the parts free of the mold. This provided for uninterrupted molding cycles, which greatly increased the machine's production.
