Super Air Wipe Prepares Pipe for Coating

A fabricator of metal tubes is manufacturing some sprinkler pipe to be used for overhead sprinkler systems. The last step in fabricating the pipe is to place a UV cured lacquer finish on the outside of the pipe. Before coating the pipe with the lacquer, it is washed and rinsed, leaving it wet prior to the coating process. Any residual water will prevent the lacquer from properly adhering to the pipe. An EXAIR Model 2453 3" (76mm) Super Air Wipe Kit has provided the last stage blow off to remove any remaining water from the outside of the pipe which has prevented any faulty coating of the sprinkler pipe.
