Super Air Wipe Removes Tramp Water from Extrusion

A customer in the construction industry extrudes a plastic sheath over a cable. The cable is used to provide concrete reinforcement. After extrusing the sheath over the cable it enters the water cooling bath. The water needed to be removed before winding the cable to prevent the mess and to extend the time between adding water the the cooling bath. They chose the EXAIR Model 2452 2" (51mm) Aluminum Super Air Wipe Kit to remove the water from the cable and blow it back into the cooling bath. The hinged design of the Super Air Wipe, which keeps the customer from having to thread the cable, was also a desired feature due to the very long cable lengths they extrude.
