Super Ion Air Knife Cleans Glass After Oven, Before Coating

A manufacturer of insulating glass runs their glass panes through a curing oven. The glass panes are 48" x 60" with the 48" dimension as the leading edge. As the glass comes out of the oven it must be cleaned and cooled prior to the coating process. Two EXAIR Model 112048 48" (1219mm) Super Ion Air Knives with Model 7960 115V Two Outlet Power Supply were mounted at the exit of the oven. The glass pane passes through the knives and both sides of the glass are nuetralized of a static charge and any debris is blown off. The air flow also provides some cooling which is necessary prior to placing an electrochromic coating on the glass.
