Super Ion Air Knife Cleans up Screen Manufacturing Process

Customer manufactures windows and doors for home applications. The customer feeds screen off of a large roll onto a table for sizing to various windows and doors. The problem is that the screen is charged with static. This condition causes small pieces of debris such as cardboard and other similar dust particles to attract to the screen surface. The customer has tried to clean with regular compressed air, but has not had success. The operator will also receive shocks from the material as they handle it. The customer is able to neutralize any static charge with a Model 112036 36" (914mm) Super Ion Air Knife as the product comes off the roll. This has allowed for a cleaner process overall with less hassle to keep the work table and screen material clean. Also, discharges to personnel no longer happen.
