Super Ion Air Knife Protects Personnel from Static Charge

When this customer's personnel removed plastic bags from a stacks of milk jugs, the sliding action created a static charge, which would "zap" the operator. Using a Model 112154 54" (1372mm) Super Ion Air Knife System to blow ionized air into the open end of the bag, the static charge was eliminated. As an added benefit, the airflow tended to inflate the bag, which prevented it from catching the edges of the jugs, making the unbagging easier.
