Threaded Line Vac Makes Calibration Process Faster

Company manufactures flow meters for natural gas measurement. The customer needs to apply a small amount of vacuum with some flow to the output end of a flow meter so that they can calibrate it against their standard. They currently use a small squirrel cage blower which tends to be bulky and makes set up on each meter difficult and time consuming. A Model 140150 1-1/2 NPT Aluminum Threaded Line Vac provided the vacuum and flow characteristics the customer was looking for. It also made connection by way of cam lock fittings easy to do. The customer was able to knock 5 minutes off of their set up time for each test and moved to a solution that has no moving parts which was attractive to the customer from a maintenance point of view.
