Two 9" Full Flow Air Knives Blow Off Excess Rubber On Injection Molding Process

This injection molding company used two Model 2609 9" (229mm) Full-Flow Air Knives to blow off the excess rubber trim from their adjacent mold faces when the mold would open. The air knives were mounted back to back on the end of a robotic arm. The Full-Flow was used because of the air flow down the face of the knife, the full-flow knife air flow, and the ports being in the back of the knife. This made it easy to mount on the end deflector and plumb with compressed air using only one supply line.
