Vacuum Control of Steam

Company manufactures Madeleine's bakery goods. They introduce sugar into a vat of melted butter. The problem they are having is the steam from the vat escapes up the sugar chute and causes the sugar to melt before it gets into the vat, causing a sticky build up that eventually requires the chute to be replaced. Installing the Model 6066 3" (76mm) Stainless Steel Line Vac in the sugar chute, it was able to assist the sugar down the chute and prevent steam from back flowing into the chute, eliminating contamination. This eliminated all maintenance issues and actually provided better control of dispensing.
