Vacuum Generator Comes Through for Moving Metal Plates
The customer is a metal fabrication company who has a water jet cutting application. The customer needed to find a way to load large sheets of steel onto their pre-processing table to get proper orientation and set up. The steel sheets are 1 meter wide by 2 meters in length and weigh about 25 lbs. After taking into consideration the size and weight, the customer went with (6) 2" vacuum cups and 3 of the Model 800005M E-Vac Vacuum Generators. The cups and vacuum generators were mounted on a custom frame fabricated by the customer. The whole assembly allows their operator to now lift these sheets in a safe and solid manner without any risk of injury.

Model 800005M 5.4 SCFM E-Vac Low Vacuum Generator with Straight Through Muffler (Porous)
EXAIR's In-Line E-Vacs with Mufflers include sound reducing mufflers that are designed to significantly lower noise without affecting the E-Vac's performance. In-Line E-Vacs are engineered to produce instantaneous vacuum at the point-of-use. These single stage, cylindrical units are compact and easy to mount. Low vacuum units up to 21" Hg (71 kPa) with vacuum flows up to 18.5 SCFM (524 SLPM) are typically used for porous materials
