Compressed Air Knives for Industrial Cleaning & Cooling

The Full-Flow Air Knife borrows engineering elements from our original Standard Air Knife with the added benefit of an airflow across its entire length. They also provide the smallest footprint of our Air Knife line to fit in cramped machine spaces.

The Standard Air Knife™ uses a Coanda profile which turns the airflow 90 degrees from its outlet. This creates a low pressure area capable of entraining ambient air at a ratio of 30:1 while producing a powerful airflow.

A gap in the Super Air Knife set the force and flow of compressed air. This gap can be adjusted with a shim. Shim sets are available for aluminum, stainless steel, and PVDF Super Air Knives. Super Air Knife Kits include a shim set but they can also be ordered individually.

Standard Air Knife Kits include a Standard Air Knife, shim set, filter separator and pressure regulator (with coupler). The Standard Air Knife, EXAIR's original air knife design, entrains ambient air at a ratio of 30:1 to produce a powerful airflow.

Force and flow through the Standard Air Knife may be easily adjusted by installing different thickness shims. Plastic Shim Sets are available for aluminum Standard Air Knives and stainless steel Shim Sets are available for stainless steel Standard Air Knives.
