Blow off of Chemicals from Leadframe Strips Before Water Bath
A customer manufactures semiconductors. Copper leadframe strips go through a series of plating tanks, cleaning/acid baths, and water rinse tanks. The primary purpose of the Air Knives is to remove the chemicals from the acid bath before the strip enters the water bath. This reduces the contaminants in the water that will eventually be disposed of. A Model 110006-PVC 6" (152mm) PVC Super Air Knife at each of the blowoff locations, one on each side of the strip, removes the chemicals of one operation prior to entering the tank for the next operation.
