Cooling a Jewelers Saw to Eliminate Warpage
A manufacturer of composite seals was using a jewelers saw to cut composite rings at .75" thick. The excessive heat buildup was causing the saw blade to warp and bind. By applying an Adjustable Spot Cooler to the blade the warping was eliminated and this resulted in higher production.
